They call him "Champ" because of his domination in his march to the 2002 PBR World Title. In 2008, he returned to championship form, treating fans to a looser, happier version of himself. His new attitude paid off as he finished 16th in the world standings and joined the exclusive $1 Million Club in PBR earnings. A decision to ride in 2009 resulted in an event win in Oklahoma City.
